I was looking through the electronic E3 press kit for NCsoft and in the impressive list of titles I noticed a glaring absence: Exteel (or eXteel for the cool kids). I played this game last year at E3 and I would have sold blood plasma to pay for the subscription. If it wasn't subscription based, I would submit to product testing in order to make money to pay for virtual items.
This game rocks and the fact that it is not being shown this year has me really worried. The last official news was that it had entered Closed Beta. The last unofficial news I got was that the game was addictive as hell, and appeared to be ready to go. If this is the second kick ass giant robot mech game that I've fallen in love with that gets canceled after Beta, you can find me in the nearest clock tower, raining down PPC bolts from on high.
If anyone from NCsoft wants to help me sleep better, let me know that Exteel is still on track for a US launch.
