Star Trek Online in-game screenshot was Photoshopped

image

Using a super seekrit method that gets used on CSI a lot, I have pulled up the official in-game screenshot and said "Enhance! Enhance! Enhance!" Almost as if by magic, it was plainly visible that the image had been manipulated. It's disheartening to think that smoke and mirrors are being used here. See the original unaltered image after the jump.

I know. I couldn't believe it myself when the blurry pixelation after the third "Enhance!" cleared. I guess it's time to answer that age old question. Who would win in a fight between Star Trek and Star Wars:

Happy Phriday!

MMOs aside... Star Wars kicks the hell outta Star Trek. Prime directives are for nerds. Not to mention it is perfectly safe to wear a red shirt in the Star Wars universe. Also, SW fans tend to be a lot less technically anal retensive. If I wanted to do math and understand physics I wouldn't have gotten that labotomy.

DM: From the deepest crypts crawls the undead thread, it's death rattle shakes you to your core. What foul necromantic forces brought forth this foul beast.
Cleric: I attempt to turn undead.
DM: You can't this is a WoW forum D&D magic does not work here.
Cleric: Well guys we are @#$%*%!
Wizard: Agreed, I believe this Necrothread was created by a dread ForumLych, impossible to stop, without a sense of humor.
Fighter: Very well I throw a badge or some other posting reward down at the necrothread and prepare a tactical retreat.
DM: The necrothread pauses at your offer, snaps up the reward and slinks off deeper into the internet.
Rogue: Phwew! That was close... I wonder if there are even more ancient Necrothreads ahead of us?
Fighter: We will only know when we continue on our journey through the crypts of Warcry.

Yeah, Star Trek is a little too Utopian for my taste. I like Chaos.

What does it mean "after the jump". I can't see where it was photoshopped?

Usually it refers to the page that appears after you click "Read More" from the main Razorwire site. If you are viewing this from the forums, or visiting the direct link to the story, you've already "made the jump". :) Also, look for the armed and fully operational battle station if you still can't see where it was photoshopped.
