DDO to put the 'S' in Dungeons and Dragons with Module 4 update
I spent some time hanging out last night in the DDO WarCry Dev Chat and found out a lot of interesting information. First off, with the Module 4 update, they are adding more dragons. I will have to stop using my pet name for DDO and refer to it as Dungeons and Dragons Online. I'm ok with that.
Another interesting tidbit of information is that Monks will be the next class being added to the game, but still a ways off, possibly in for Fall 2007. No worries, DnD Monks are really cool, but complicated so if taking extra time to get them just right is necessary then I'm all for waiting.
What could be better than a Monk? How about a Half-Orc Monk:
WarCry: razor: So now that orcs have been hinted at, will Half-Orcs be considered for a player race?
Nereid_DDO: I personally would LOVE to see Half-Orc Monks running around Stormreach by the end of the year
Eladrin_DDO: Int and Cha! Dump stats!
Nereid_DDO: So look for Half-Orcs as a playable race toward the end of the year
I've already committed to trying the game out after Module 4 hits. I hope I enjoy it. Mostly because I would spend the next 8 months farming gold to mail to my Level 1 Half-Orc Monk in December.
