I've been asked to leave 3 colleges, mostly because I Majored in Chaos and Minored in Dilemma. If I could have taken this course I may have stuck around to get that degree in Theoretical Debauchery:
Role-playing Games: How to Play Dungeons & Dragons
This course brings to life the pencil-and-paper game of Dungeons & Dragons and the art of role-playing games. You will discover the background and history that brought D&D to its current incarnation. What are the strange, little dice used for? How do you fight and cast
spells? What does it mean to play a character? And most importantly, how do you win?
You will learn the basic game mechanics of the D&D game, starting with how to generate
a character and continue with playing that character through several classic elements of the D&D game. The instructor will cover the concept of cooperative gaming, as well as character advancement vs.development. Finally, some options will be suggested for setting up a game of your own.
