主题: June Update ContinuedDear Team,
I wanted to reach out to you and share some news. I have decided after a fantastic six years to step down as CEO of Affinity Media. This was not an easy decision for me, because this is an extraordinary company with unlimited potential:
" The ZAM Network
Under John Maffei and his team's direction ZAM has the opportunity to be the biggest online game network in the world. I am confident that the team will turn it into a great economic success."Consumer Auctions and Asset Exchange
Under Paul Kim and his team's direction, I expect us to become serious players here in the U.S. The team has a mission to not only offer a great service but also to make game publishers into our trusted and valued partners."China Content
Under Rendey Xu and his team's direction Zam China has become one of the biggest online game networks in China. Games TV our partnership with Shanghai Media Group has become a tremendous cable programming network. I anticipate under Rendey's continued leadership that the best days of China content are ahead of us."Itemmania
Under the leadership of Mr. J. H. Lee Itemmania has become the leading virtual asset exchange business in South Korea. With the closing of our transaction I look forward to even bigger success with J. H. and his team in the future.I am confident that Bryan Parker and the team will continue to put in place the financial tools, systems and controls that will enable us to effectively manage these global businesses.
I will remain on the Board of Directors as Vice Chairman of the Company with a mandate to assist the Company in its strategic direction. The Board and I have decided that Steve Bannon, shall be appointed immediately as interim CEO. As many of you know, Steve is a former Board member and is very familiar with all of our businesses. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience that will serve the company well. Steve currently is the Chairman of two publicly-traded companies, Genius Products and Points.com. The Board is engaging a leading executive recruiting firm to undertake a systematic search for a CEO as my permanent replacement. We will look both internally and externally to find the best candidate to lead Affinity Media moving forward.
Feel free to contact me if you have questions.
Best regards,
Brock Pierce

Consumer Auctions and Asset Exchange. Hmmm... Sounds like RMT to me. Itemmania. The RMT Strikes Back. I'm pretty certain at this point that if the IGE sale was actually completed , Affinity Media is still up to their eyeballs in secondary markets. All those people still going to ZAM sites, Thottbot, and now Wowhead are making Baby Thrall cry.

Oh, there's a plain vanilla version of an official announcement at Affinity's site. Note the marked absence of any mention of RMT.
