I just wanted to take a moment to show some appreciation for Cryptic Studios Online Community Relations Manager, Victor Wachter. Back when he was the DDO community manager, I was very much not a fan of the game. However, he still maintained a level of professionalism even though others at Turbine did not. Sadly, it wasn't until after he left that I started to find things about DDO that made the game fun and challenging.
Now that he has moved over to Cryptic, I think I'm going to pick up playing City of Heroes for the first time in over 2 years, just to get a sense of what's changed and where the game is at nowadays. I'm rather anxious to see if my characters are still there. I think my highest was a Level 31 AR/Dev Blaster on Virtue. Yes, I quit after Smoke Grenades were nerfed finally fixed. I'm over that now.
