In anticipation of the November 2 release date of Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa, NCsoft will be holding an end of beta event on October 26, 2007. Tabula Rasa beta participants that are up for the challenge may take on General British himself on Friday October 26 from 10:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Central time. Keep in mind that the last player who managed to kill Lord General British in his MMO got banned for life from Ultima Online. I heard that someone already managed to kill Gen. British during another Tabula Rasa event because the player couldn't figure out the control system and accidentally shot British's character rather than opening a trade window. Yeah, that's intuitive.
